ALUMINIUM EXPANSION TANK - REPLACES THE PLASTIC TANK THAT SPLITS
Direct replacement aluminium coolant expansion tank for Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic. The original plastic tank splits at the seam and the cap thread softens with age; this one is hand TIG welded from lightweight, non-corrosive alloy and bolts onto the original mounts - no drilling, no modification.
- Uses the original 15 psi pressure-relief cap (NTC7161) - refit yours, or use the aluminium cap supplied
- Supplied with aluminium cap and O-ring
- Hand TIG welded - no bonded seam to split
- Alloy sheds heat better than plastic and holds its shape at running temperature
